I'm finally getting back to my roots. For quite a while now, I've put my focus in the digital world of matte painting and 3d environments. Don't get me wrong, it is gratifying to see your work on the screen, but something has been missing. For so long I've haven't aloud myself to paint traditionally. I've been so used to Control Z. I've been so worried to make a "shitty" painting that I don't make any. I've allowed my fear of making art to take over for too long. I've reached my breaking point. I came to the realization that I will not be able to make an awesome painting without making a whole lot of shitty paintings. So here I go...no control z...just mineral spirits!
