I went to Terra Firma Farms last Sunday with the North Bay Plein Air group. We took a tour of the farm. It was a beautiful day, though it got very windy by the time I started painting. My pochade box and tripod fell three times! My painting wasn't successful but I am learning! The best part of the day was checking out the farm and learning about how well the animals were treated. I brought home some pastured eggs. They tasted awesome!
I've been so worried to make a "shitty" painting that I don't make any. I've allowed my fear of making art to take over for too long. I've reached my breaking point. I came to the realization that I will not be able to make an awesome painting without making a whole lot of shitty paintings. So here I go...no control z...just mineral spirits!
