painting 56: Plein Air Convention (Asilomar State Park)

Here is the first painting I did in the convention.  This was at Asilomar State Park.  I was fortunate enough to be standing next to an amazing artist, Quang Ho. He even gave me some advice about my edges. I need to define my edges with conviction!   I also got great advice from another awesome artist, Jesse Powell.  Jesse mentioned I needed to add more reflected light on the rocks.    It was also a super windy day, by the time I was ready to pack, my easel was pushed away by the wind! You know its really plein air when there are traces of sand on your painting!
